Overview
The Amir Khayrbak Complex in Bab Al-Wazir Street is a religious building, This includes a Mosque and Aa Madrassa. It originally consisted of a mausoleum built in 1502 CE by the Ottoman governor of Egypt, Khayr Bak. It is one of many Mamluk style Circassian architectures (Burji) built during the Middle Ages.
